There are many different ways to categorize what happens in life.  Some of what we see is real.  Some of it is only perceived because we believed it was. Some things we see, but because we do not accept them, they are not real, and they become a figment of our imagination.  Having said that, is our reality not what we make it out to be?  Perhaps, and perhaps not.  Wiser men could probably argue either side equally effectively.  Just as the victor writes the history books, the loser still existed, but he can be forgotten.

What does all this have to do with Magic, you ask?  Magic cannot simply be used.  It must first be understood and accepted.  Both of these suggest a level of acceptance on our side of the belief system.
