Bootes and Penelope are quietly studying the ancient documents when, without warning, Penelope slams her fist on the desk. “We must be missing something! This can’t be all of them, can it?” she asks, frustrated.
Bootes stands and says, “I’ll check the pub. You try and figure out what you can.”

While Bootes is asking around for help at the local pub, a regular patron stops him and hands him a parchment, “This might help you on your path.” As Bootes unrolls the parchment he realizes it’s a map to Sage’s Keep, but it shows something different. Bootes turns to offer thanks but the patron is gone.

Bootes winds his way to the rear of Sage’s Keep to find two lion statues. Upon examination, the lions spring to life and roar, “Give us the Answer we seek, and you will find Entrance to this keep.” Startled, but not deterred, Bootes readies himself for their challenge. “What is the Question you will Ask of Me?” Can you help Bootes? While reading the creature book and looking at the nice detailed artworks, everything seems to become alive. Bored feels completely emerged into the descriptions and, for a moment, he feels he is on the Golemus Island near the Drachorn Lair, enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and forgetting about the dark corridors he is actually in.

Inspiration flashes in Bootes eyes and he slowly smiles. “Sand”, he says to the lions. The Lions’ eyes lose their fire and they are lifeless once again. Bootes hears a large crack and the lions begin to crumble. He reaches the entrance just in time and turns to see that huge chunks of stone and rubble now block the entrance forever. Bootes heaves a heavy sigh and walks into Sage’s Keep. Congratulations Burns for solving the quest so quickly!

Bootes walks through the ornate doors of Sages Keep to find a long corridor; there is an air of mystery and serenity about the area. At the far end of the hallway is a pedestal illuminated by candle light. Bootes believes he may have found what he is looking for! He stands for a moment, in reverence, before journeying towards the end of the long hallway.

No one wanders around within the dark for a while before stumbling upon a large open fire. Approaching it slowly, he mumbles to himself, “Huh, I didn’t know there was a fire here. I thought there were only shadows.”

As Bootes approaches the illuminated pedestal, he stops in his tracks and chuckles. “Another map? Are you kidding me?” He studies it for a moment and realizes it appears to direct him through the winding maze-like hallways of the Keep. He sets out with map and candle in hand.

Bootes winds his way through the twisty corridors of Sage’s Keep and marvels at the maze-like complexity of the interior. He follows the faded map to a set of doors at the end of the hallway. Bootes opens the doors to reveal a large study like room surrounded by walls lined with rows of scrolls and books. He enters the study and begins searching through the documents for the one that will continue his quest.

No One continues his trek through the blasted wasteland he has found himself in, leaving the crackling fire to burn alone without him. The land appears dead and the sky is dark. No One stumbles upon a crossroads of sorts with a well in the center, though he finds no life here, either. All he does find is harsh wind, thick dust, more darkness… and a vase.

After searching for what feels like days, Bootes discovers a wooden box with some papers on a desk tucked away in the corner of the vast study. He notices that all of the items bear the mark of the Inner Sun. Bootes’ curiosity is piqued by the wooden box, which rattles when picked up. “Hmm? What is This?” Click >here< to find out.
