The MD Archives are the recovered writings of MagicDuel — a long-running, browser-based fantasy world where every screen is an aged parchment scroll and every creature carries a paragraph of lore. Less a game than an interactive medieval manuscript, MagicDuel has been written and rewritten by its wanderers for many years.
Gathered here are 164 chronicles — histories and philosophies, verses and official records, instructional papers and adventure logs — salvaged from the old archives and bound anew so they will not be lost to time.
The chronicles are sorted into category halls: the General Archives (instruction, combat, history, literature, philosophy and sciences) and the Official Records (adventure logs and decrees). Each scroll may rest in more than one hall. Use the search to seek a chronicle by name or by the words within it.
These pages are kept by an obsessive archivist in the spirit of the realm itself: warm, dim, scholarly, patient. The gates of MagicDuel remain open — enter, if you would write the next chapter.
