The Story of the King and the Carpenter

The Story of King and Carpenter

Then let us all begin
Many people with many ears,
A story they want to hear.
With this day of 179
A fable will be told at this time.
But, before we proceed,
There is something you must heed:
Kings and Men within the story
Are not meant to be used as glory.
They are backgrounds for supports;
Now the warning have been given,
And hopefully many have taken.
Let story of King Gabriel and Jack Willow
Begin!!! Half my country for a worthy statue!

Gabriel loves creative statues,
A king admires the works of carpenters.
For many years and numerous days
Countless carpenters were invited to stay.
With the sight of many ornate objects
To all the statues, Gabriel rejects.
Valueless statues, that's what he wants.
Gabriel ponders many nights
Until an idea was in sight.
The words of Gabriel were like golden
This is what was spoken:
A contest to all, I will say
A reward will be offered of day:
Half of my country
For a worthy statue given to me.
All across the country
To the capital, many carpenters flee.
On the day of judging,
Many carpenters and statues were gathered.
But none was successfully offered.
To all the statues, the King does say
Too fancy and too valuable for me to take. Which is most special

Then came a boy
Three unique statues he has
Like three drops of water they are
Nothing about them statues look different
Three statues of a warrior that looks the same
The King questions the boy.
What are these you offered?
Nothing looks special about them all
To Gabriel, Jack did answer
Looks can be deceiving
To all that do not know my statues
They are worthless
But to those that know of my statue
They considered it priceless
My King, I ask of you.
Which one of these statues is most special?
Gabriel ponders for a while
"Your King does not know."
Which one of your statues is most special?
Jack shrugs his shoulder
Even I do not know
Let the statues themselves tell Three blades of grass

How so the king asked.
When I came in, I saw
Many blades of grass that are still raw
If I may my King
Let me pluck three blades of grass
And I let my statues tell it all
The specialty of each statue
With permission granted
Jack returned with three blades of grass
To the first statues I give this blade
To the first statue Jack inserted the grass
As expected...
The grass that came into one ear
Goes immediately out the other ear
To the second statues I give this blade
To the second statue Jack inserted the grass
Again into the ear
But this statues is different
The grass goes into the right ear
But came out from the mouth
To the third statue I give this blade
To the third statue Jack inserted the grass
Again into the ear
But as much as he watched
Gabriel sees no grass coming out. Answers

He questions Jack.
Where has the grass of the third statue gone
Jack replied, "Into its stomach to be digested.:
So my King...
Do you know which statue is most special?
Anyone wants to take a guess?
Guybrush Threepwood: Number two!!!
AqlBeast: if you are still hearing my story that is
Guybrush Threepwood: Must blurt out answer!!!
Omega Blade: the last one
AqlBeast: anyone else?
: Asterdai puts his hand up
: Asterdai laughs
AqlBeast: Asterdai
Asterdai: well the king wanted statues that weren’t special in the first place, so err I take a guess and say he picks number 1!
: Asterdai looks eager
Guybrush Threepwood: Well, if we're going for a serious answer.
Guybrush Threepwood: I have to say 3.
Omega Blade: that was my answer :D
Asterdai: that statue's freaky
Thank you everyone for the input
As expected of the bright King
Gabriel answered "I believe the third"
But for those standing before me
Do care to explain why.
Of three statues
Czez: I think most kings would prefer the second kind.
The most special is definitely the third
Before you stands three statues

Three statues of a WARRIOR The second mind

For a King such as yourself
If you are to command your warrior
Would you want that warrior to disregard your command?
That is precisely what the first statue does
If you are to command your warrior
Would you want that warrior to question you?
That is precisely what the second statue does
However for the third statue
People say the stomach is the second mind
The blade of grass that enters the third statue has enter the second mind to be digested
A warrior who takes heed of his commander
Who thinks before he speaks
Who keeps what he learns to himself
Would you say that warrior is most special
Therefore, the third statue is most special of 3
With such meaning placed before him
Gabriel was overwhelmed by this young boy
At an age so young
He is able to grasp the life of human kind A decision

People often listen to what other people says
But they rarely apply them to good use
Majority of people these days
They listen but they do not care
They listen but only to restate what they have listen onto another conservation
Definitely special
Nowadays
There aren't many people who...
Who listen and learn from listening.
To digest to infer to acknowledge themselves
With those thoughts in his mind
And with a decision in hand
Gabriel has decided.
The winner of this contest is the young boy.
My manners have failed me today
What is your name my boy?
My name is Jack Willow
Then from today forth
All shall hail King Jack Willow
Many carpenters and statues were gathered.
But none was successfully offered.
None satisfied the king as much as him,
A boy possessing three unique statues.
