Seeing as short speeches are the fashion, I’ll keep this short.

I’d like to thank all those who voted for me. And Mur for the Festival of Pain, without which I wouldn’t have nearly the amount of drachorns I have today.

[It should be noted that the player of the character who won this award was not a Rookie when this was awarded; he had been playing the game for quite some time, though this was unknown to most people who were playing MagicDuel during the voting.  Since this revelation, the Rookie award has been awarded to new players–new people who have been in the game for less than a year–not new characters created by veteran players.]
